Event Description:

Today, the only certainty is uncertainty. Unfortunately, for Charter Schools, the 2020 pandemic has limited available resources, and while spending on PPE has increased, access to funding and grants has significantly decreased.

Consequently, Charter Schools have abandoned important goals, adjusted staffing, and drastically reduced budgets. To ensure every dollar is accounted for, financial leaders at Charter Schools are having to quickly re-think their entire financial strategy. In a short space of time, they’ve had to find ways to simplify processes and improve efficiencies to retain the one thing required when all is uncertain – adaptability.

One important area financial leaders are focusing on is turning procurement management from ‘reactive’ to ‘proactive’. By building proactive procurement processes, Charter Schools can unlock greater savings and save time on bureaucratic tasks, while achieving transparency over spend and budgets.

In this one-hour interactive panel session, join two veteran Charter School executives in a fireside chat. They’ll share their experiences on managing multiple campuses, working with governing boards, modernizing outdated back-office procedures, and they’ll explain how to use procurement technology to make sure every dollar goes towards bettering the educational experience for your school and your students.
